Mr. Urs Unkauf – Federal Managing Director and Delegation Leader of BWA Global Economic Network, highly appreciated the economic development potential of Binh Dinh Province and expected that through this working visit, a bridge will be built between the German business community and Vietnamese businesses in general, between German localities and Binh Dinh Province in particular in the fields of mutual interest, from there, there were specific cooperative activities to promote and strengthen the relationship between the two sides to become increasingly close and deep, positively contributing to the development of Binh Dinh Province in the coming time. Mr. Urs Unkauf also expressed his desire to cooperate with Binh Dinh Province in the fields of green industry, semi-conductors and telecommunications in the near future. The representatives of German businesses at the meeting also discussed and shared fields of interest for investment in the coming time. Some of German businesses expressed their willingness to care and support Binh Dinh Province in investment and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan – Deputy Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the fact that German businesses visited and worked in Binh Dinh Province, and he also shared the provincial developing orientations in various fields that German businesses were interested in. Mr. Chairman emphasized that with much potential, Binh Dinh was in the early stages of economic development. Along with transformation in many fields, Binh Dinh had many favorable conditions in terms of large areas with full infrastructure to satisfy investors (especially Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial – City and Service Park in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone). This was also a good opportunity for German businesses to cooperate and participate in the provincial economic development process in the future. Particularly, in the field of AI, Binh Dinh was currently the only province in Vietnam that has a scientific city area with a developing orientation that attracts AI chip manufacturing businesses to this area. The point of view of the provincial leaders was to create the most ready favorable conditions for businesses, including German businesses, to invest. Regarding the pharmaceutical field, in Binh Dinh Province, there were currently Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Bidiphar), one of the leading units in the pharmaceutical field as well as having deployed the largest IV fluid production factory in Vietnam. Also, Bidiphar was focusing on growing medicinal plants under the forest canopy for pharmaceutical processing.

With existing advantages, Binh Dinh Province wanted German businesses to invest and produce products of the provincial strength. Along with economy, Binh Din Province was also always interested in developing the fields of health care and education. Determining the quality of human resources as an important issue in the process of developing and attracting investment, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan hoped that members of the German Business Union would be a bridge between Binh Dinh and Germany with deeper coordination in the field of education – training, skill development for high school students, support for training provincial teachers and students, thereby improving the quality of Binh Dinh's human resources. The Province also wanted German businesses to share experiences, advise and cooperation in investing new city areas and tourism, contributing to the long-term and sustainable development of the Province.

Also on the day, the German Delegation visited a number of places where they paid interest in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, including Nhon Hoi Eco-Tourism City Area, Quy Nhon Merry Land Complex of Entertainment Tourism and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial – City and Service Park.
