Korean investors exploring investment opportunities in Binh Dinh Province

At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee welcomed Korean investors to explore opportunities and promote investment in Binh Dinh. At the same time, he introduced an overview of the socio-economic situation, the potentials and strengths of the province. According to the provincial leader, Binh Dinh has advantages in terms of geographical position, infrastructure in industrial parks and Nhon Hoi Economic Zone which has been invested and completed with technical infrastructure conditions. Those advantages would be a favorable condition for Korean investors to come co-operating and investing. In Binh Dinh province, therer has had 4 investment projects of Korean enterprises, with a total capital of 93.5 million USD.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Lee Hye Jang thanked the provincial leader for taking the time to welcome the delegation and said that looking for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh, the Korean enterprises wanted to cooperate and invest in projects of water treatment, waste and the environment. Specifically, projects on clean water supply, water supply for industrial activities, urban and industrial wastewater treatment, waste treatment ... Besides, the enterprises also wanted to transfer the Korean water and environmental treatment technology for the locality. The Korean Association in Vietnam has also learned about the land fund in Quy Nhon City to invest in building hotels, trade centers ...

The provincial leader and functional departments provided sufficient information on issues that investors were interested in. At the same time, the province pledged to create the most favorable conditions for enterprises to invest in the province.

On the morning of  November 5, 2019, Mr. Han Ji Ok and Representatives of Korea - Asia Association also came to work with Binh Dinh Economic Zone Authority to promote the construction of a non-profit educational institution to support training teachers of  Vietnam. The deligate also explored the locations that are calling for investment in the construction of hotels and resorts in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.
