Binh Dinh Chairman Working with Vietnam Mitsubishi Group

In the afternoon of June 05th 2020, at the office of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee welcomed and worked with Leaders of Vietnam Mitsubishi Group, including Mr. Ken Horinouchi, General Director of Mitsubishi Motor Vietnam Co, Ltd. and Mr. Jun Shirota, General Manager of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group who came and looked for investment opportunities to Binh Dinh Province.

The attendants were Leaders of Provincial Departments such as Transport Department, Planning and Investment Department, Natural Resources and Environment Department, Foreign Affairs’ Department and Binh Dinh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA).
At the meeting, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee introduced overviews on provincial economic – social development and the co-operation result between Binh Dinh Province and Japanese companies. Mr. Chairman also emphasized the advantages of  Binh Dinh Province locating in Central Vietnam Key Economic Region with quite perfect technical infrastructure. At the moment, Quy Nhon Sea Port, with total cargo capacity of more than 10 million tons yearly, is the most advantageous international commercial gate between the Central of Vietnam, the Highland, Laos, North – East Cambodia, Thailand and the out world. Beside sea port, Binh Dinh Province also has a good socio-economic system and perfect transport infrastructures of airways, highways and railways. In the province, there are 6 industrial parks and Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (NEZ) with total area of more than 14,000 hectares where many Japanese investors have come to set up projects and operate the business
Also at the meeting, Mr. Ken Horinouchi, General Director of Mitsubishi Motor Vietnam Co, Ltd. was impressed by many changes in Binh Dinh Province recently. Mitsubishi is seeking location for the second car manufacturing factory in Vietnam. According to Mr. Ken Horinouchi, Binh Dinh province, with deep sea port, will be preferentially suggested. Otherwise, with full technical infrastructure of transport, factory in Binh Dinh Province will receive many advantages in Mitsubishi product transportation. Besides, with many industrial parks and Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Binh Dinh Province is suitable for setting up factories of producing car accessories. Especially, Mitsubishi Group has preferentially introduced to Binh Dinh Leaders with automatic tram-car system on sphere of action from 3 kilometers to 50 kilometers which is convenient in people transport between Quy Nhon Downtown and Nhon Hoi EZ, Green City. 
Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee expressed a desire of Mitsubishi Group to invest to Binh Dinh Province and committed to create the best condition on prepared area, administrative procedures and other preferential policies for Mitsubishi Group to carry out car manufacturing projects in Binh Dinh Province.
