Maia Quy Nhon Beach Resort Grand Open on Vietnam 75th National Day Ceremony

Master Plan of Phuong Mai – Ba Mountain Tourism Sea Line, as Key National Tourism Line, was approved under Decision N0 2864/QĐ-CTUBND dated 24/12/2008. According to The Decision, at the first area in Cat Tien Village, Phu Cat District in NEZ where Maia Quy Nhon Resort Joint Stock Company carried out Maia Quy Nhơn Beach Resort Project, there would be hotels, general commercial service areas, recreative entertainment areas, green parks, camp sites, sport service areas, green areas with total 106 hectares in area.
In December 2016, Binh Dinh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) handed over the investment certificate (IC) of Maia Quy Nhon Beach Resort Project to Maia Quy Nhon Resort Joint Stock Company. Accordingly the Project, with total area of 34.15 hectares and total investment capital of VND 1,158.5 billion, had the purposes of setting up a four-star-resort with 755 rooms and accompanied a system of multi-service for tourists as hotels, restaurants, event ceremonies, transportation, recreative entertainments, sports, swimming, beach and others. All the project would be finished and put under operation by the third quarter of  2020.
After receiving the IC, Maia Quy Nhon Resort Joint Stock Company whose founding partners were from VinaCapital Investment Foundation had quickly fulfilled all the investment and construction procedures and carried out the construction in the area. Although facing many difficulties during up-setting process such as terrain, geological and sea weather problems, … and especially Sar-Cov-2 pandemid from 2019 up till now, the investor, with the determination and experience, has overcome all the above difficulties, finished all the defined procedures, perfected the construction work, put the project under operation right according to the above IC and contributed to celebrate the Communist Congresses of all grades for the 13nd Central Communist Congress and the celebration of Vietnam 75th National Day
With the preparation for the Project Grand Open Ceremony, at villa cluster, 54 villas with service for 136 guests have been finished; at resort cluster, central swimming pool with total area of 400m2, reception house with total area of 250m2, restaurants with total area of 1,000m2 serving 150 customers and spa center with total area of 760m2 have also fulfilled. At the moment, Maia Quy Nhon Resort Joint Stock Company has finished its employment and quick training program, set up and equipped for staff in resort cluster. On the other hand, the remain procedures such as fire prevention, tasks of acceptance inspection in waste water process, underground water exploitation, … have also been being finished.
At present, there are 26 service - tourism projects of total 93 projects in NEZ whose total investment capital of VND 45,296.6 billion, taking the ratio of 56.1% total investment of all NEZ. Recently, the number of service - tourism projects in NEZ which have partly finished construction and put under operation is very small. Maia Quy Nhon Beach Resort Grand Open Ceremony show the meaningful realization of NEZ investing and developing purposes, especially to celebrate the Communist Congresses of all grades for the 13nd Central Communist Congress and the celebration of Vietnam 75th National Day of this year.
