GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF BECAMEX VSIP BINH DINH TOWNSHIP & INDUSTRIAL PARKS

Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Township and Industrial Parkscovers an area of 1,425 hectares with total investment capital of VND 3,333 billion located in Van Canh District, part ofNhon Hoi Economic Zone (NEZ), in which 1,000 hectares of IPs would be invested and developed by Becamex IDC Group and its important Singaporean partner – SemCorp Development Group. The 425 hectare remains are included the areas of resident people, commerce, service and resettlement. Many types of industrial producing manufacture would be gathered in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Township and Industrial Parksbeside many service activities such as healthcare, education, commercial centers, hotels, restaurants, shops, amusement, entertainment, publicsports, cultural centers, apartments and others. Each section would be reasonably set to answer the huge number of people’s demands on standards of life, producing, commerce with lowest costs and highest effectiveness on investment. At the groundbreaking ceremony, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh emphasized that the new road connecting Nhon Hoi Economic Zone to Phu Cat Airport and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Park are the key infrastructure projects playing a huge important role in the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province. The Deputy Prime Minister appreciated Becamex Corporation deciding to choose Binh Dinh to develop the Becamex VSIP project and the province having efforts in disbursing public investment capital, completing and inaugurated and put the road into operation These two very important projects will play a nuclear role in promoting the strong development of local industries and services, making an important contribution to the implementation of the goals set by the twentieth Provincial Party Congress for the next time.In order for Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial, Urban and Service Park to be successful, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested leaders of ministries, branches, all levels of Binh Dinh province and people in the project area to coordinate well with the investor to ensure that ensure the implementation of the project on schedule, ensure quality, safety, efficiency and well protect the environment and care about social security and life for local people. The Deputy Prime Minister also suggested to quickly deploy the North-South expressway from Quang Ngai - Nha Trang to simultaneously exploit the common goal of the whole North-South expressway and help Binh Dinh province to strengthen the transport capacity of the project, simultaneouslysupport to expand the scale and open new domestic and international routes of Quy Nhon Seaport and Phu Cat Airport.“The successful project not only contributes to the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh but also for the central region and the whole country”, emphasized Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh
Also, at the ceremony, there was an event of signing MoUs between Becamex and other potential partners. These above MoUs were the investment extension of Vietnamese and foreign investors whose projects were successful in IPs of Becamex IDC and VSIP in other local of Vietnam. Thesepositive signal and hard attempt prove Becamex potential at very first steps. Expectedly, Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Township and Industrial Parks will attract the investment capital of more than USD 02 billion and employ from 120,000 to 150,000 workers for local people and surround areas. The Project will take part in upgrading Binh Dinh provincial competitive advantages in economy, economical – technological infrastructure development, social infrastructure andsupply more than VND 400 billion to government budget yearly.
