Kurz Hi-Tech Hot Stamping Foils Project in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh IP
On November 08th 2021, Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee organized the investment registration certificate granting ceremony on Kurz’s Hi-Tech Project of manufacturing hot stamping foils in Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP Industrial Park (IP) that is the largest IP in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in Binh Dinh Province. The attendants are Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Standing Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee and Director of BEZA, Leaders Binh Dinh Provincial Departments, including Construction, Investment and Planning, Natural Resources and Environment, Industry & Trade, Finance, Transport, Foreign Affairs, Provincial Ground Clearance and Resettlement Office, Van Canh District People’s Committee, Becamex IDC Group and Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company. Dr. Andreas Hirschfelder, Senior Vice President of Kurz Group and Dr. Cosima Jasmin Freiin Von Salis-Soglio, Project General Manager in Binh Dinh were present at the Ceremony as The Kurz Group’s Leaders.
At the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee awarded The Investment Registration Certificate to Kurz’s Representatives to invest a Project of High-Tech Factory of manufacturing hot stamping foils in Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP. This was the concretization of the commitments between Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee and Kurz Group on investment cooperation in the MoU signed on December 22nd 2020 by the two sides. This was also the first industrial production project investing to Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP.
With the speech at the Ceremony, Mr. Chairman thanked Kurz Group for choosing Binh Dinh Province to invest and to become the first pioneer investor in Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP. It was hoped that the Project of High-Tech Factory of manufacturing hot stamping foils would be set up in the spring of 2022 and completed the construction in 2023. Binh Dinh Provincial Leaders were committed to creating all the most favorable conditions for the investor to execute this Project.
Covering on an area of 12 hectares with total investment capital of USD 40 million and high technology, Kurz Group's Factory of manufacturing hot stamping foils project is expected to become the leading bird in the invest stream into Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP. When under operation, with the capacity of 15 million square meters per year, the Factory will supply film products, decorative decals and hot stamping foils, semi-finished materials and color paint for film decal sheets which would be supporting industrial products for many industrial fields. With this Project, Kurz Group would also provide technical consulting services, assembly and installation services of industrial machinery and equipment, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment, and other services related to Kurz Group's production. This is considered a good cooperation result between Kurz Group, Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company and Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee.
Dr. Andreas Hirschfelder, Senior Vice President of Kurz Group said, “First time coming to Binh Dinh Province early 2019, Kurz Group has received very enthusiastic and timely support from The Provincial Leaders, especially from BEZA and from Mr. Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee with the guidance to assist in the registration of this Project. The Project’s location at Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP is also suitable with our requirements, the ground is high, stable and far from the sea; quite suitable for the needs of future production development. In the period of staying here, we feel that the Binh Dinh people are very friendly, trustworthy and enthusiastic. In the coming time, we hope to continue the cooperation to create conditions for Kurz Group to develop our Project successfully. Besides, we also expect to receive open communication, timely and enthusiastic guidance from The Provincial Organizations if facing any difficult problems in setting up and operating this Project. As our sake, we are committed to doing the best that we can to develop this Project for the benefit of the Group as well as Binh Dinh local areas.”
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Standing Deputy Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee and Director of BEZA said, “With the influence of this Project, with the very careful preparation of the infrastructure from Binh Dinh Becamex Joint Stock Company for Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP and with the high determination from Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, we hope that together with Kurz Group's Project, there will be many big investors from German, Europe and countries around the world as well as large domestic enterprises who will find opportunities to invest in Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP and will create rapid force for the our provincial socio-economic development. In the coming time, we will direct and create the most favorable conditions for all investors coming to Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and Provincial IPs.”
This Project was a good and strong start in forming and developing Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP because of the great outstanding efforts from Binh Dinh Province, Binh Dinh Becamex VSIP IP and Kurz Group. With 100% foreign direct investment (FDI) capital, the Project would increase the attraction of foreign investment capital, especially from Germany and Europe to Binh Dinh province. Meanwhile, with high technology content and advanced management methods from Europe, the Project was also expected to bring valuable experience and efficiency in industrial management and high technology application, in industrial production and business activities to Binh Dinh Province for the near future development.
Also in the afternoon of the same day, at the office of Binh Dinh Provincial Central Committee, Dr. Andreas Hirschfelder, Senior Vice President of Kurz Group came greetings and worked with Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Member of Central Committee of Vietnam Communist Party, Secretary of Binh Dinh Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council
